Connacht rallied from 10 points down at half-time to earn a draw at Worcester and seal qualification from Pool Five.

John Muldoon and Niyi Adeolokun scored first-half tries for the Irish province but it took a score from full-back Tiernan O’Halloran and a penalty from fly-half Craig Ronaldson to level.

Worcester had control at the break through two Perry Humphreys’ tries and one each from Sam Lewis and Josh Adams.

But they failed to score in the second half and were denied a crucial victory.

Worcester hoped to close the gap on the pool leaders and looked on course to do so as Adams put Humphreys in twice, first with a grubber and then a long pass.

The try bonus point was secured before half-time as Connacht ended the half with 13 men but having held out at the start of the second-half, the Irish province mounted a comeback to win the pool.
